2015 Carolina Region Champion Awards will be presented at

the 14^th Carolina Homecoming Skirmish, 15 November 2015.

They will be on display, between the Spring and Fall National

Skirmishes, in the Carolina Region Section

of the N-SSA Museum at Fort Shenandoah.

How it works…

Points are awarded in all Team Matches at National and Carolina Region Skirmishes.

In each Match, the highest placing CR ‘A’ Team gets a number of points equal to the number of

CR ‘A, B, C, etc’ teams in that Match.

The 2^nd highest placing CR ‘A’ Team gets one less point than the highest placing CR ‘A’ Team.

The 3^rd highest placing CR ‘A’ Team gets one less point than the 2^nd highest placing CR ‘A’ Team, etc, etc.

The CR Host Team gets the same number of points as the highest placing CR ‘A’ Team in each Match.

If a CR Host Team competes in a Match, it forfeits ‘Host Points’ for that Match

and gets points only for where it places in that Match.

Teams from other Regions do not count for entries or points.

Each Artillery Piece is scored separately.

Year-end ties are won by the Team with the LEAST Host points.

For example:

At the Shamrock Skirmish there were 6 CR Carbine Teams entered.

The 27^th North Carolina ’A’ Team came in 1^st and got 6 Carbine points.

The Buncombe Rifles ‘A’ Team came in 2^nd and got 5 Carbine points.

The 24^th Georgia ‘A’ Team came in 3^rd and got 4 Carbine points.

The 27^th ‘B & C’, and the Buncombe ‘B’ Teams counted as entries but received no points.

The 38^th North Carolina hosted the Carbine Match and got 6 Carbine points.
